Customer Assist

I work in Customer Assist in the online team. My daily responsibilities include answering any inbound calls with regards to online purchases, which is everything from delivery, damaged/faulty products to returns. I also answer any inbound emails querying any online purchases, questions about products or services we provide.

I began my journey with Bunnings in May 2017 and I love the culture here. Each member of staff is treated as an individual and you get to show your personality on a day-to-day basis.

The best person I work with is so supportive, they never judge and are always there to lend a hand if needed.

My best achievement so far was when the MD called me directly to tell me what a great job I had done in dealing with a complaint – this then lead to me getting a recognition award which felt amazing.

I love the customer interaction, and you never know how the customer is going to be on the other end of the phone – I enjoy the satisfaction I get when I resolve a customer query.

You need to be willing to put in the effort and work as a team to be able to give the best outcome for the customer.

I want a long and successful career and I want something that is going to challenge me, knowing that I am helping the company move forward.
