Vendor In-Store Support Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Vendor In-Store Support (VIS) Coordinator to assist and support the Merchandising and Operations teams. The VIS Coordinator will continue the roll out of the VIS program by providing training and support on the systems and procedures to Suppliers, Merchandising and Stores to achieve the set KPI’s, freeing up team members to focus on customer service.

This role is the major coordination and communication force between the Merchandise Department, Operations team, Suppliers & Stores. Working in partnership with the Bunnings/Homebase Supplier base, you’ll develop strategies to further improve on stock availability, merchandise standards and team member product knowledge across Bunnings & Homebase stores.

Key result areas:

Ensure that the Merchandising & Operations teams and the Bunnings/Homebase Supplier base are aligned on the expectations of the VIS program.
Development of ongoing Operations communications strategy to ensure the VIS program is understood at all levels in Stores.
Engage Supplier base to provide product training to Store teams.
On-boarding of an expanded group of Suppliers to the VIS program.
Plan & execute the rollout of the VIS program to include a wider grouping of Stores across the UK & Ireland.
Build strong relationships with the IT and Business Intelligence teams to assist in the development of accurate and timely reporting.
Lead the ongoing development of the VIS Accreditation Program ensuring it is aligned with the latest Merchandising and B.S.A.F.E policies.

About you:

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Microsoft Officer 365 – (Intermediate) Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Good planning and organizational skills
Ability to develop, manage and lead a team
Experience working in Operations / Merchandising
