About the role:

To maintain accurate reporting and insightful analysis of transport costs and to ensure that the benefits expected are being delivered and tracked.

Key responsibilities will include:

Compiling weekly data reports and checking third party data files to ensure costs consistent with rate card and transport planning information;
Set-up new processes and review regularly to drive efficiencies.
Work alongside the Contract Management Team to feed into weekly and monthly reporting, with detailed analysis and summaries of contract performance against business case.
Work alongside the Planning team to create budgets/forecasts of new operation in current financial year and for next financial year
Adhoc support when required by senior management or business partners in relation to the transport operating.
Support & cover elsewhere in Logistics team as required
Work collaboratively with the wider financial reporting team and functional supports to provide an evolving service and support
Develop and maintain key business relationships with appropriate stakeholders within the Bunnings Group

Must be AAT qualified.

Able to apply management accounting theory in appropriate business context

Able to multi-task while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines. Can handle a large and varied workload
Strong attention to detail
Able to build working relationships easily with all key functions in organisation and is able to influence others where there is no direct line of reporting
Has worked in analytical capacity and can demonstrate link between analysis and process improvement / cost reduction
